"Some bacteria does seem to have the ability to *slightly* adapt to being resistant to silver"
JOH: I am aware of only one, per Bart Flick of Silverlon. It lived in silver-rich soil. When cultured for a few generations in non-silver-bearing soil, it lost it's resistance. Immune enhancers, maybe, but why CS?" Some bacteria does seem to have the ability to *slightly* adapt to being resistant to silver (and two types seem perfectly adapted -- but they can't be infectious to animals), but the bacteria doesn't keep their adaptation in the absence of silver. >Nutrients that support our biological systems make sense, I'm not sure >daily colloidal silver comes into that category. To the best of my knowledge, we don't know if silver is a natural part of our biological system. Investigators of trace minerals have found that lead, aluminum and arsenic *are* used by our bodies for certain purposes -- but these elements occur commonly in food and water supplies in Western countries (where the investigations occurred). Nobody has investigated whether or not silver is used by the biological system of the people who live in areas where silver naturally occurs in food and water supplies. -- Dean -- from (almost) Des Moines -- KB0ZDF -- The silver-list is a moderated forum for discussion of colloidal silver.
