Judging from the picture on the website, adding a bubbler may not be so
easy because the electronics are built into the lid, and there may not
be room to drill a hole for the tube. Lack of flexibility is the
drawback to such a tidy, self-contained design.

If you think you might want to tinker with design parameters you might
be better off with the wishgranted.com unit which uses wire and aligator
clips to connect from the electronics to the electrodes. That allows
complete flexibility with respect to the jar. The directions call for a
quart canning jar, but I use it with a one gallon suntea jar and a
bubbler for stirring. Here's a pic of my current set-up:
