Normal hygienic practices should suffice. Wash, rinse, dry first.
My ONLY reaction to DMSO was when I used tiger balm to try to sooth a sprain.
It wasn't helping, so I dug out my bottle of DMSO and slathered it on. This was
in the locker room and I didn't bother trying to wash off the balm first.
Well, the DMSO carried it into the bloodstream and I felt immediately nauseous.
Never again did I have any problem with DMSO.
