Did anyone just catch the Fox news? They were talking about the government planning on getting the records of everyone who watched the anthrax special tonight with a Tivo from Tivo, and implied that these people would likely be put on a terrorist watch list by the government. They said that they recommended people to NOT watch this program if they are using a Tivo, or any service that can track their viewing because of this.
So if you want to watch it and have a Tivo, have Tivo think you are watching something else, and change the channel of the sat or cable box directly without Tivo knowing it. Make sure your cable or sat company cannot track it either, since Fox said they were going to get the viewing records of those as well. Fox said the Feds can now do this because of the First Patriot act which allows them to do this without a warrant. So the abuses seem to have already started.
