I'm using a Silverpuppy too and was having the same results u had.

I'm using .2 uS DW [two tenths] and was getting yellow CS until I mixed my 17 uS finished product
with about half of a bottle of DW

Two weeks and that CS remains clear and measuring 7 uS.

I still contend that starting with water at such a low uS, the AMOUNT of CS [finished product]
is what turns it yellow. In any case, it worked for me and I'm happy with 7 uS.

Remember the unit doesn't know how much silver is there. It just shuts off at a given conductivity and I'd bet that if u used dirtier water like 3-4 uS, u wouldn't get yellow CS. I don't know I haven't tried that yet.

Well, what do you know, the Kmart in Rock Springs had distilled water:

American Fare
Processed by carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, distillation, UV
treatment, microfiltration, ozonation.
Source municipal supply, Fort Worth, TX
Bottled by Premium WC, inc.
Fort Worth, TX

PWT = approx .5 uS pH 5.5 (basically the same as my
home-distilled DW)

Now to see if CS made with this water stays clear or goes yellow, like
all the CS I have made lately, with the exception of two batches made
in my homemade generator.
