Thanks Vince, I, age 81, have been blessed with many skills; but "computerese" is gradually coming through the help of many on this Site, who were raised with computers. Those pondering that first step need the help and sometimes the spoon-feeding of the "experts" who've traveled a long way down the road of independence. It may help them to take a step or two on their own. It may not :) Who knows until we try :) As Chuck says, there are those who don't realize the resources they have in their dropdown menus... That doesn't mean they can't learn with some patience and help from those who realize. There are, after all, still people who are being introduced to computers in general - mostly middle age and older. The sharing of this list has been great for me. It's provided many thought provoking spring boards for research which I have benefited from.
