The PWT works the same way as the TDS meter...on conductance. The PWT's range is much closer to what CSrs are dealing with for less error and resolution is many times higher. The conductivity readout has not been fudged by a multiplier to give the illusion that PPM is being measured. Any reading taken with a TDS meter should be doubled to get an "idea" of approximate PPM CS for most people. There are many factors that can skew the association of conductivity with PPM....two different animals, usually of about the same size. Ode
