When I had severe Candida Overgrowth Syndrome I researched it thoroughly
and found some information on how hard it is to kill the Candida in your
gut, due partially to it's form with extensive hyphae ("roots") that
penetrate the gut wall and blood vessels. But also due to the fact that
oral medications do not reach this area in sufficient concentration. The
same is true of vaginal yeast infections which is why doctors prescribe
a topical medication more often than oral anti-fungals.I think Candida flares because it is always present in our bodies, like many pathogens, in small numbers. You can not sterilize your body, but you can keep the pathogen numbers down and in balance. Part of the problem diagnosing Candida is that it is normally present in the body, known as a commensal, the tests can not tell us if there is "over growth" or dysbiosis. But the symptoms can and this is how many medical conditions are actually diagnosed, using tests as supports. But the final diagnosis is the "opinion" of the physician, not a hard and fast absolute. What cleard Candida for me was enemas, anything that you like that kills fungus is helpful. I used my own urine, because at the time that was all I knew of that would work and had worked and had been reported to cure MCS secondary to Candida. I also use oral urine therapy at the same time. I could smell the yeast the first two mornings I did retention enemas (clean out with warm water, then another enema is retained for at least 20 minutes, put your feet up, massage tummy). There are many things you could put in an enema, green coffee is good for live detox, I use H2O2 in an enema as a standard additive these days because it is handy. But urine is very good for killing candida. Doing it from both ends cured my Candida in short order. My energy level was 500% improved within two days. I consumed all the urine I produced before 5 PM for two weeks. I was on an all organic diet. It sounds gross but when you are that sick and afraid you are going to die, this was after battling this for 2 years and seeing all manner of doctors, you will do anything not to leave your children motherless. It is presently used in kidney and brain surgery. Several well known drugs are made from human urine. OK enough about urine, apologies to anyone this may offend. Use the 20% DMSO on your abdomen, do it more often or use it as a compress and leave it on for 20 minutes, keeping it wet. DMSO in small concentrations can be very effective, more is not always better. Only 2-4% is used to preserve tissue in organ or stem cell transport.
