I just read a book called "Hydrogen Peroxide Medical Miracle" by William Campbell Douglass, MD. In it he indicates that Hydrogen Peroxide (in very small quantities) given intravenously works extremely well for Emphysema.

He wrote:

"I am convinced that with peroxide therapy we finally have an effective treatment for these severely afflicted people. With the first treatment, the patient will often seem to get immediately worse, with violent coughing and production of copious amounts of phlegm. You can actually turn the coughing on and off by turning the infusion on and off.

"Dr. Charles Farr, the pioneer in peroxide therapy in this country, calls it the Alka-Seltzer effect. The oxygen seems to bubble up between the membrane lining and the pus, thus propelling the pus upward. This stimulates coughing and removal of all the junk that has accumulated in the lungs. The end result is a very happy patient.

"Chronic lung disease is not the only place for hydrogen peroxide by any means. But it is certainly one of the most dramatic uses for this safe and effective therapy."

Hydrogen peroxide may also be effective on the skin cancer as well...

The amount used for intravenous injection is very small and should be done by a physician. In one place it says, "Send $5 and a written request for a list of doctors to IOMA, P.O. Box 891954, Oklahoma City, OK 73189" and in another place Robert Jay Rowen, MD President of IOMA says (after a list of some MDs who do this) Please send your tax deductible donations IBOMF, P.O. Box 30006, Edmond, OK 73003. so I suppose you could get references from one of these addresses. I bet both Dr.s have websites too. (IBOMF = International Bio-Oxidative Medicine Foundation, and IOMA = International Oxidative Medicine Association?)

Pete, what state are you in?

Dan

As many on the list know, I have an advanced case of Emphysema and am trying various means to slow the decomposition of my lungs. I use a Omron nebulizer in which I add my 12PPM EIS than inhale the mist for about 10 mins. AM/PM. I came across this other product at Walgreens called "Oxylene" which indicates that it is a Nitric Oxide (NO) enhancer. It is suppose to improve oxygen delivery to the cells, promote max. circulation and vascular blood flow, and also increase physical sta- mina and endurance.

Does anyone on the list have any knowledge of this product? Is "NO" a safe substance? One of the main ingredients is Arginine alpha Ketoglu tarate(akg).

Thank you,

Pete

PS between nose cancer and Emphysema I am having a wonderful Christmas!<G>
