I don't suppose there's an OS 9 version of this thing, or any equivalent? This solution sounds intriguing, but since I'm still using OS 9.2.2, and probably will be till the end of this year, or possibly beginning of next year, depending on when Apple releases the newest version of OSX, which will have the built-in screen reader, "Spoken Interface," I really could use a 9.2.2 equivalent.
"Tiger" as I hear it is called, is due for Sep-Oct release. Probably around when Panther was released last year (25 Oct, IIRC)
