Hi Max and others,

I've finally gotten to a place where I can try this out.

Fresh install of 9.2.2 with SIMS and 10.2.8, with developer tools.

Following the first terminal instruction on Max's page:

sudo -s cd ~/Desktop/ mv assp-1 /usr/local/assp cd /usr/local/ chown -R root assp/ chgrp -R wheel assp/ chmod -R 0755 assp/

I get "No such file or directory". Drat. In fact, I get the same on

        sudo -s cd ~/Desktop/

as well as if I put the full path /Volumes/HD/Users/billc/Desktop/ . So I'm dead in the water.

I'm somewhat of a terminal newbie... can anyone give me an idea of where it's going wrong?

Thanks.
