I'd agree with all of that. If memory serves, the last word (long ago) from
Stalker on the subject was that the only thing 1.8 was waiting for to be
'released' was touching up the docs to reflect the changes in it that had
not previously been documented. I can only imagine that the community of
people still using SIMS must be shrinking and this list probably represents
the best support available for it, so I'd think that incomplete
documentation becomes less important over time. Heck, I've recently
migrated my mail server to CGPro and no longer run SIMS, but I've kept my
subscription to the SIMS list because there are some very knowledgeable
people on it from whom I still learn good and relevant things.
