In any case, the hold up in going to 1.8r was entirely in the
documentation. The program itself is more than worthy of being considered a
'release' version. I'd speculate that there probably are not great hordes
of people pounding on Stalker's gates demanding the release of SIMS 1.8. I
doubt that it's much of a priority for them, if it's even still on the
radar.
