Hi Victor, Yah lor, lets export the Mynas to Singkawang shall we ^^. The other day when I was cycling from Tampines to Pasir Ris, in the mid way, under the Mrt line we found the bird so many that lost in counting may be few hundred of them, just like a bird farm lah.
I was grew up playing with fireflies almost every evening. But the pepticide already kill every single one of them. They were not at the mangrove, they were at the bushes. In the night time they were all over the bushes tree, makes the tree looks like cover with thousand of thousand christmas light. We used to caught them and store it into the glass bottle. We call fireflies "fo nyam chung", in Singkawang Hakanese. Why are you interested to Jungle? want to watch a Meng friends? surely they still have a Meng friends, because last year when I visits our kampong, our neighbor got one baby a meng from someone brought it out from jungle. The mother was shoot dead and eat by the local. They left the baby alone, so this person saw it and feel sorry for the baby and then brought it back but sadly not survive.
