I am sorry you seem to have utterly missed the point of my remarks.
The world heads straight to destruction and all of us toward true dead
while we daydream of the wonders a superintelligent being we do not
know how to build could do if it was totally out for what is our
greatest good and had almost limitless powers. Forgive me if I don't
take a hell of a lot of comfort in this endless prattle.
Samantha's right; it's fun to dream about what might or might not happen in the distant future, and to a certain extent all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy; but we need to not let it distract us from what might be achievable in the nearer term.
