Hi Midnightmare, If the authenticated user is not authorized to modify bindings, the registrar MUST return a 403 (Forbidden), If the address-ofrecord is not valid for the domain in the Request-URI, the registrar MUST send a 404 (Not Found) Assuming that Registrar has the access to the bindings of the domain specified by the Request URI of the REGISTER request & the user is through with the authentication which Registrar needs to do, then the registrar should return no contact in 200 OK response, the response should be same for when user sends * in the REGISTER request contact header, as this situation is similar to bindings being expired for some AOR before user could explicitly de register it.
Hope this clarifies your query. Best Regards, Pravesh On 10/2/06, [EMAIL PROTECTED] < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > De-Register comes into picture afterwards.
