Oh. I didn't realize that was what you were after. There is no *standard* for this. Its not entirely clear to me that one is needed. But if so it might seem to be appropriate work for Bliss. IMO my second alternative above is most preferred: Each end just spontaneously generates whatever sort of notification it desires to is own user. I guess a Reason could be included in the BYE, and that could be rendered by the recipient if desired.
