Are we mixing up the feature codes one would use with a Cell phone or
residential Centrex type service with the Features that are available in a
SIP PBX. Surely, one can't expect them to be the same.

However, if someone is trying to create a commercial offering with sipXecs
that includes those types of features, I'm sure the developers would welcome
the addition to the project.

Yes, but... (aw daddy, you said butt), I think his target audience is a bit
different, consumer maybe. I think he's looking for return call and stuff
like that which you would find offering by a lec to a landline subscriber,
these features are usually found in the front part of your local phonebook.
I don't think ACD login/logout and call park/retrieve are part of the
repertoire in that case.

Well, technically there are a bunch already.

*4xxx - retrieve a park orbit call.

*76 . etc.

Check down through the PBX features to find them all.

Sounds like a feature enhancement for the sipx-dev list.

Right, *xx codes. They are called Feature Codes in asterisk and in the
google searches
I've been doing at least.

The codes exist on the end devices but I wondered if there was a way to make
these common
codes for all users, across all various phones.
