I am trying to subscribe a polycom soundpoint phone (phone B: extension 2002)
for MWI service for another extension (phone A) on sipx. My intensions are to
notify phone B as well when there is a new message waiting for phone A.
I built the configuration of polycom phone B on sipx. I put the extension of
phone A (4003) under the messaging section of phone B. During boot-up, phone B
sends a subscribe message to sipx for 4003 but sipx returns a 401 unauthorized
message for the request.
Both phones are configured on the same sipx. They are in the same domain.
My question is that if what I am trying to do is possible? Has anyone tried
this before?
