Can a feature request be added to the list to add a check box on the VM screen that says "Automatically delete this message from the message store after forwarding it to the email address?" (i.e. "Forward and then delete locally") This makes it possible for someone to simply manage their VM and EM via their email system. The existing model assumes that people have to take some management action on the VM platform (if only to delete the messages every time). I understand that by doing this, the MWI will not be of value, but for people who always keep their email open, this is not an issue. The argument that this can be done via IMAP synchronization is not quite valid, since keeping the message in the email system will also keep a copy in the VM platform. -------------------------------------------------- How do you propose to handle this deletion when the email server is down, unless you also request in this simple change to validate delivery also. Otherwise, you lose your email server or services, forwarded messages are deleted and lost forever. I suspect it's more than just deleting after forwarding if you want reliable voicemail service. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users Unsubscribe: http://list.sipfoundry.org/mailman/listinfo/sipx-users sipXecs IP PBX -- http://www.sipfoundry.org/
