You can do it either way. If you want to cancel it hit Control-C several times, then run it from sipXconfig.

Josh,

Thanks a lot. I made the changes to the sipxecs.repo file that you indicated and it's downloading right now. Although I may have made a mistake because while running 'yum update' it said:

Total download size: 413 M
Is this ok [y/N]:

Then I answered 'y' and it's downloading from there. I hope that will be ok? I've got a feeling I should have said no to that, and then do the updating within sipxconfig.

Thanks again!

    Don't despair, here's how to do it

    On each server you have you need to swap out the repository in
    /etc/yum.repos.d

    it should be sipxecs.repo that you need to edit. Change the
    sipXecs repo
    within sipxecsrepo to:

    [sipxecs-stable]
    name=SIPfoundry sipXecs pbx - latest stable version
    baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/sipfoundry/CentOS_5/
    gpgcheck=0

<http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/sipfoundry/CentOS_5/%0Agpgcheck=0>

    then run yum update, then go to the software update section in
    sipxconfig then check for updates
