I've had a customer deployed with Polycom 450 phones for about 14 months
with no known issues.

What I did have happen is three Procurve 2610 switches in a row lose POE
power on the first 12 ports within a week of them being installed.
Eventually, HP replaced with 2910 switch and everything has been okay since.

Subject: [sipx-users] Polycom 450 PoE issue

A bit off topic, but has anyone had trouble with Polycom IP450 phones' PoE
killing off after unplugging them and the plugging them back in for the
first time?

1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us&client=firefox-a&source=www.google.com explains
exactly what's happening. The only way to boot these phones up is with a
power brick. It's like the PoE chip is defective or something. I'd hate to
RMA half the phones I bought if this is going to continue happening....

Thoughts?
