Look at the logfiles. I had a similar issue with a VVX1500 just last week. Phone was completely messed up. Log indicated it couldn't load the firmware, the error was full disk on the phone (huh?). I updated the bootrom and everything worked fine after that.
I think there was an old bootrom on the phone, and a newer firmware that was not compatible. -----Original Message----- From: sipx-users-boun...@list.sipfoundry.org [mailto:sipx-users-boun...@list.sipfoundry.org] On Behalf Of Tommy Laino Sent: Monday, February 27, 2012 12:03 AM To: sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org Subject: Re: [sipx-users] Polycom Remote Phone MWI Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Organization: SipXecs Forum In-Reply-To: <cacct1odtx6ltmgrv3qvbxikjbyxw0o+kwy53r+x933zhklm...@mail.gmail.com> X-FUDforum: 08063afcdd00a6e76393c5b9527381e8 <66288> Message-ID: <102f0.4f4b3...@forum.sipfoundry.org> Well this is a Polycom 550 phone. Nothing seems to be working. Is there anyway other way I could remove this firmware? Maybe through some hardware reset. I am going to check the log files when I get back to the system -- Tommy Laino Dome Technologies _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/ _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list sipx-users@list.sipfoundry.org List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
