The problems in the translation were because the Italian translator  
has not responded for a very long time. Because of these problems, I  
removed the Italian localization for the next release, and I removed  
mention of it from the Wiki.

It would be great if you could help making a new translation. Do you  
have the Xcode developer tools, and are you running 10.5?
