But searching and creating/activating the fonts are 2 differents and  
independent things, aren't they?

I should point out that this ATSServer process is only starting to use  
the CPU when I do the first search. Before that, everything is ok. The  
problem is that the first search takes ages and it kills for me the  
ability to quickly open a pdf an look for something int it if the pdf  
is quite big (which most pdf in which I search are)
