question!
I've now downloaded the full installer for Skype 5.8.0.158 using the link
Inamuddin posted on this list, and I will install the new version again
with
that full installer after sending this reply. Then I will test it for a
few
days at least, and, if I have the same problem as before, I'll go back to
the old version I installed yesterday.
Obviously, I hope the new version will work with this new installer, so
that
I won't have to downgrade again. If it does work, I will stick with it
this
time.
