First think about this you get a skype chat. Oh darn I did not here what was said. Or oh darn I need to read the fith message in the list. Ok with out a script command you are going to be doing a lot of work to just get the information you want. Typing a message to some one ok press alt+1 get in to the contact list find the person to chat with now press the contact key arrow down to send im and press enter. Keyboard command press control 1 to get in to the contact list arrow to the person you want to chat with press space press control 4. Getting in to the live call list with out scrips good luck. Some times it is at the top of your contact list some times it just doesn't focus. The list goes on and on but I think you have the idea. As I said NVDA is useable with skype but it is not very user friendly.
