Again these are things where Roy said we don't need them.... Jukka, are you talking about the NOTICE files under src/main/resources, i.e. the ones that get included in the binary artifacts? If that's the case, IIUC the NOTICE is required if the binary bundle that we distributes include bits from SLF4J, and if SLF4J requires redistributions to include attribution.
