This is what I and Rhandeev term as a leader will evolve out
naturally.
Outspoken and contributive members will be rewarded with a
greater freedom to decide what they want with the Portal. You
have the freedom.
As of now, I am sort of the evolved/informal leader. But I wish to say
one thing, when the Compaq server is gotten and when our website
is slashdotted, I wish to step back
and take a less active role in leadership, marketing, recruitment and
direction defining.
I am confident that some of the people here are capable of that -
Moonshi for example - and I wish with Moonshi's permission that
he can take over the bulk of my work. I am willing to step back and
release my "evolved" control. My job in the portal, though taxing,
is very rewarding, and you get to know a lot of contacts (you get job
offers from the air, you know, no joke).
I only want a few sections on the portal for expression of some of my
gadgets (those who know me very well knows I like to use Linux to think
of new small gadgets) and some of my technological ideas. I am basically
a person who likes creative thinking and I hope I can do more of those
when the Compaq server is settled (the promised lands). I will only
do minimal marketing (I like marketing, but not as much as I like
creative thinking. :P).
That is all I have to say.
