Two publishers' catalogues arrived recently.
The Pearson Education Australia one has 6 books under "Operating Systems /
Windows" and 6 under "Operating Systems / Linux" (and there are 2 under
"Operating Systems / Unix", including a Caldera OpenLinux book). OTOH,
there are another 5 books on M$ certification.
The New Riders catalogue has about 30 Windows titles - and 6 Linux and
3 Unix ones, but maybe another 12 titles on things like QT and glibc
and KDE development and Python so forth.
And everytime I visit a bookshop I check the shelves...
