I eventually solved this problem of the NT workstation not seeing any
samba server in the network by;
1: tcpdump port 137/138 revealed that the NT workstation was talking
to one server, getting a knock back and going home to sulk. Seems
pcguest was allowed, but not set up properly.
The samba server doing the knock back was a Calder Open Linux 1.3 and
it was answering the broadcast before either of the RH bxes, including
the one that was getting in a browse master.
Disabled the pcguest config and 2/3 came onto the browse list. The
third one was there once I put it's peer group name correct.
Now to get the sharing working {:-).
