I am using Wangdat 3200 (which is wangdat 3100 with a hardware compression
chip). It works fine under Redhat 6.1. It is running of Adaptec 2940 card.
And it is indeed a DAT drive. (DDS-1, no software compression.)
In the original post it said you're trying to mount the tape drive. Why
would you want to do that? Would you just use it with tar or cpio?
