Yep, thats what comes with living in a networked and hostile world. You
can get away with upgrading on Linux for quite a while but if you are
interfacing to other things sometimes you are just going to have to keep
up with the Jones, no matter what OS you use.
At least with Linux you probably wont have to upgrade your hardware at the
same time.

Its getting better. I need to redo mine at the moment, but I am avoiding
it. I want to add in the access db to reject mail from certain domains or
users. I just can't find the mc file I used to create my cf file. I might
take a look at smtpd.

But Terry you know you should not run an open relay if you don't want
these things to happen. Thats the way it is in the wild wild west of the
internet at the moment.

Well you have been forced to because anything current from Microsoft will
only run on the new stuff. You should not have to pay for anything you
want for Linux. I have payed for Word Perfect and VMWare and a little bit
for CD's (not anymore now I have cable), but I could have easy worked a
way around those costs.
Terry I hope you get it all going. I seam to be saying "I hate comptuers"
more and more lately. But I think I am living in a more complex and
hostile world.
