The problem is i am using a BNC connection not a RJ45 the laptop dual boots windows and linux windows has an option in the network config to set the cards cable type , either to AutoDetect , Coax 10b2 or Twised Pair when set to Coax 10b2 , lights come on the plug end of the card and it works can this be emulated the same way in linux
i have been though the docs , but no clues any ideas would be appreciated
