Unfortunate but true. Most employers think that a certification you can
get by buying a couple of books, reading way into the night and sitting a
dumb multiple choice exam without ever seeing the so-called "OS" you're
being certified on is worth more than 10 years experience working wit hthe
pile of crap and making it work.

However, there's no need to take the assaurances of the employment
"agency" that you should come to them for training. Go to Dymocks, spend
$200 on a couple of books with CD's in the back of them full of practise
exams, and away you go. Bucketload cheapr than doing the training courses,
and you've still got an 80% chance of passing if you pay attention to the
books.

Only difference is that you don't get to play Solitaire in class this way.
