Not on both by default. But check out Bitstream Vera Sans mono. Its a clean looking sans serif monospaced trueype font that's Open Source. IIRC Solaris has an equiavlent, or you could install the Bitstream fonts themselves. > Personally, 'courier' is a good font - but it is kind of boring. Its terrible.
