or xfontsel, which is more likely to be installed on your Solaris box as

I like the Bitstream fonts also, but I still use plain-old 'fixed' for
code. In an xterm. With vim. I like it mostly because I can read it
clearly at sizes smaller than the other fonts -- and I normally have a
lot of code on my screen. Joel of onsoftware fame had a link to a font
he thought was pretty awesome for this. I thought it just looked like
fixed, but maybe the finer points of fonts are lost on me.
