It seems a sad state of linux on the desktop where nearly everyone has
replied with what would be considered command-line apps. Or perhaps
there was a joke there I missed. I totally understand the lovely feeling
of power that wielding gcc as your mail client gives you, but really,
for people who get their kicks from other things in life, mutt is not a
desktop app :)
