Clarification – that is .37 amps EACH. By the way, I am planning on using Kyocera 60W PV panels (40W is really
good enough for my sun, but the KC-60 has a better form factor for my
application). If you find a good source of low cost charge controllers for your
application, please let me know. I am using spare Trace C40’s for this one, but
would like to know for the future. Jason -----Original
Message----- I just tested a couple of AP Totals and they were
drawing .37 Amps at 14.1 Volts. I found them more power efficient than
expected, and calculated that a single 12V, 80aH battery would be more than
enough to handle a few days of cloudiness and keep the depth-of-discharge to
under 50%. You can look at the Concord PVX-690T AGM for about $120 or you can
get a 12V lead-acid for under $70. Jason Szumlanski -----Original

those of us who're going to be using these on battery power (solar charged),
actual current figures would be REALLY helpful. Thanks NEOFAST.NET
