Since we are purchasing our Cat 5 cable now, smartBridges should at least
have a source where we can buy at a good price

That is correct.  I had a couple with the ether net dead problem.  Replaced
them only to have one reset itself. Then "shielded" the wires.  I actually
just ran bare wire with the cable runs and then grounded it and have not had
a problem at that site since. Now that you guys don't supply the cable with
the outdoor radios I bet you are going to suggest to people that they should
use the more expensive STP as part of the ideal installation.

So using Shidlded Twisted Pair (STP) does not have this ethernet dead
problem. This info definitely help other users on the list.
