Ya, both DeLormes and another called Terrian
Navagitor are very kewl. But for free, the proggy that Ray suggested can't
be beat. I just have to figure out all the numbers and I will be
set.

I have DeLormes Topo 4.0 It is awesome. I think it
will do exactly what you are looking for. YOu can plot points on a GPS
unit, plug the unit in and it will plot the points on the map. Then you
can view a full 3d view of the area. Being able to change the viewing
angle on demand to whatever angle you prefer. Although it is pretty
pricey it is an awesome program.
