looked inside a lightning arrestor ? Given any thought to how they
work ? Basically how they work is that when you get a power surge the
power surge will be offloaded to ground. So if you don't ground the
coax or the lightning arrestor  there is no where the surge can be
offload to. Think of it as a dam. If you get a flood of water and you
don't have any ways to offload excess water it will start flowing over
the brim or just put so much presure on your turbines that they will
blow. Same thing goes with electricity through a lightning arrestor.
If there is no where it can offload the electricity that is conductive
it WILL go through your arrestor and kill what is on the other side of
it..
