I'll grant you're a woman, or at least female.

Whatever.

According to the local phone company, carrier class is a scratchy, noisy,
buzzing pair of failing copper lines multiplexed and incapable of a modem
connection. What IS your point?
> I thnk they have a lot of PR bull. and I think your one of 'them' a PR
bull.
I've been on this list some time, and you're new here. Nobody on this
list is a "PR Bull". The SB employees on this list have been a model of
professionalism, courtesy, and responsiveness that exceeds anything I have
ever seen - or even hoped to expect - for a company half a world away.
They (and others) are on the bleeding edge of turning a sow's ear into a
silk purse of ISP connectivity. 802.11b was NEVER designed for it, and
those who have adapted it and worked it into a workable (though not perfect)
system deserve kudos for their creativity. To expect perfection, in an
industry changing WEEKLY with new strategies, products, and systems brought
to market in response to demands made just months ago, is absurd. You want
to be a cutting edge industry, on the bleeding edge of broadband
distribution, and do so a consumer-level price. That's fine, we all do.
But we are all sensible enough to realize that asking for hardened,
flawless, and mature featuresets, as well as equipment, is simply NOT
POSSIBLE. If you want to be one of the pioneers in THIS wagon train,
prepare to take the arrows, get up, and get on with it - not take out your
frustrations on those others doing their best to provide the almost
impossible.

> Never be rude to a lady!
I know what a "lady" is. I've met them. My mother was one of them.
No "lady" I have met descends to the language, implications, nor the
rudeness of your postings.
This doesn't excuse anyone else from rudeness either. So make your
point, in a clear, professional, and convincing manner, and you'll get MUCH
farther than you have.
