I also run activeperl on a w2k3 server (web edition) and it runs all my perl
utilities great.

just make sure you change all the paths from /dir/dir/dir to x:\dir\dir\dir
;)

also use fired to run all the MRTG process as service, no problems keeping
them running. its also great for other tasks.

You might try reinstalling ActivePerl and do an overlay
install for MRTG. I had some problems with MRTG crashing
a few times. I updated to the latest ActivePerl and
reinstalled MRTG and it's been running solid every since.
