Mine wasn't locking up, it was dead in the water. If it did get anything,
it was dropping 80% of the packets. The guy (Todd? Tyler? Troy? T...?)
said that it was probably a bad capcitor. Truth be told, I think the
problem started when my installer snipped the CAT5 plug, ran it into the
home, and reterminated it using standard T568b ..which is NOT what the
Tranzeo unit uses (Why, oh why, I'll never know! If anyone's planning on
using a Tranzeo unit, just keep that little tidbit in mind. I hate to
sound like an imbecille, but I should think a bright yellow sticker should
be included with each unit saying "WARNING: This unit uses a non-standard
CAT5 termination"). The thing actually worked for a while before we found
out the problem and reterminated it. It worked thereafter, but was
horribly loosing packets. I pulled it out and replaced it with a sB
indoor. (Note to the Tranzeo lurkers: the sB made some improvement, but
not much. Turns out the 40' mast still didn't give us the LOS we needed).

I brought the Tranzeo back to the shop and played around with it. It
worked off and on, but never reliably. I RMA'd it and they were quick in
sending the replacement unit (2nd Note to Tranzeo lurkers: I won't mention
what was up with the 2nd unit. Let's just keep it our little secret, eh?
;)

The unit is working fine as far as I know. Other than the little twerp
(and I use the term nicely) aiming it in the wrong direction, it's been
good. I'm not aware of any issues with it, but I'm not monitoring it like
I am with my sB units. I *think* I've tried it out with 3 of my APs and
its worked just fine.

(3rd note to Tranzeo lurkers:
-how about support for MRTG or some other graphical stats stuff?
-any possibility for site survey tools on the CPE? I can't get the 2015 to
do a site survey and list all my APs)

I'll be buying Tranzeo again.
