I don't know about the TR-311. The cable coming out of the 2015 (which is
apparently discontinued??) uses the following wiring sequence:
Orange
OrangeWhite
Green
GreenWhite
Blue
BlueWhite
Brown
BrownWhite

That may not be right order, but it sure as heck ain't T568b! Tranzeo does
have a .pdf on their site with the proper wiring sequence. (I still think
they should have a bright yellow slip of paper in the box that warns about
it ..or better still, change the wiring). The point being... when you're
at a customer's house and you want to drill a tiny 3/8" hole instead of a
1/2" hole, you need to cut off the provided plug, thread the provided CAT5
through the hole and then reterminate ...using the above sequence insted
of the T568b standard. This is an accident waiting to happen, IMHO.
Personally, I see no reason to use a non-standard wiring sequence. But
once you know, the issue is (largely) behind you. It's just one more
training issue to keep up with for everyone that you train. (on the other
hand, think of how this would be a non-issue if the T568B standard was
used)

And I need to say a bit more about Tranzeo...
Apparently someone on this list ..uh.. forwarded my comments to their
support staff and a couple of their guys contacted me to clear up any
issues I might have. I thought that was commendable!

They do have SNMP support for their radios so it turns out I can poll them
with MRTG. I haven't tried it yet.
With the proper firmware, it does read signal strengh (in *true* dB
.something sB does *not* do). I still can't figure out how to get it to
do a sitesurvey and show me all the APs it sees, but that's a minor point.
.I think.

Just to repeat, I'll be buying from them in the future.
