Eje,
I think I started this thread...so I hope that I am also finishing it
off.

Just so you know...I did not go to another distributor! I don't have
mikrotik yet...I am feeling the necessity though...very badly.

And you will be, without a doubt, the guy I go to for it!!

Why go to a salesman, when you can go to a salesman who knows what the
f#$@ he is talking about!?!?!

My needs are GREAT though...I need you to configure it so that it does
this:
1. Monitors throughput speed. When a user is pulling a download (or
upload) at greater than 100kbps, than after 5 minutes, his connection is
throttled down to 80kbps. Then 10 minutes later, if he is still at 80
kbps, throttle him down again to 40kbps.

2. When a user hits their monthly cap (1 or 2 gig), then throttle their
connection down to 56k (from 1.5 meg).

I offer all my clients 1.5 Meg up and back. Unthrottled. That means
that I could have a single user suck EVERYTHING! Gotta protect that.

Sully

I'm hurt you didn't get the MikroTik stuff from me :(

Hope you didn't end up paying to much in shipping if you got it direct
from Latvia (I might be a Swede but I am located in Kansas).

Best regards,
