Call my CFO (my wife) at 505 847-0036. She has been talking to Washington about this very problem. The way the restrictions are written, if you charge any customer, that income goes against the grant. Well Washington says that was not the intent, so they are going to put out a new set of restrictions that says you will spend the grant as you said you would with some leeway for price increases etc. Here the cost of the CPE's went from $10,000 per 100 to 33,000 per 100 CPE's. My wife and CFO has been jumping all over DC to get this resolved.We'll see what happens in next week or so.

I have a piece of software I cant afford to buy yet and the demo is time limited. I keep resetting the date to make the software demo work. When I buy the software, which I'm gonna do when I get the money, the date and time will be correct. Till then....my own little time warp !

BTW - haven't seen one red cent of the grant money yet. But we did get the legal papers 8-7-03 to fill out and send back. Woh...ya wouldn't believe all the restrictions on the spending of this money! Not to complain... it is a half million dollars any way ya look at it.
