OfficeMax has DLink 604 routers on sale for $29 (normally ~$49). Send in the rebate, and you only pay $19. Dunno how long the sale lasts, but I just about cleaned out the place near me.
I'd say go ahead with your plan. Sounds pretty good. The faster speeds might be a little high at $69, but there's only one way to tell. You can also do stuff like "Buy today and get the SuperFast $69 for $49 for one month". You lose $20 up front, but they're spoiled and won't want to go to the $39 ;) TIM Quoting Tom Haynes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > I see you have finally given up on the computer counting plan :-) Today, I > just found NetworkEverywhere 4 port gatway routers at Wal-Mart for US$39.95. > The website http://www.networkeverywhere.com only mentions that it works on > DSL so I can only assume that it also supports PPPoE.
