Are you doing NAT? If not, static IPs will be a pain in your butt when it's time to move to a new IP block. I'm running DHCP, but handing out specific IPs based on their PC's (router's) MAC. I can change them at will w/o needing to make a truck roll or talk someone through the process over the phone.
I don't remember the particulars about the Belkin. Just didn't care for it too much. I do like the DLinks, and when I bought them, the clerk printed out a rebate for each unit. Dunno if I'll actually get them. I'm sure DLink has my address memorized by now. I run rebates quite a lot. Did you see the Siemens router on TigerDirect? http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp? EdpNo=578093&Sku=E525-1000%20P&CatId=198 It's a single-port so you'll still need a hub or a switch. But the price is hard to beat. I've got 3 of them and they work fine for me.
